Broken Elbow!
I had a snowboarding accident yesterday and I broke my elbow. I was coming down the mountain and hit a jump and tried to do a 360 and didnt land it. I went to the ER and they said it was broken in 3 places and would require surgery. They put a long arm splint on and gave me a sling to wear and said surgery would be on saturday. After surgery they said I will have to wear a long arm cast for 6-8 weeks and then a brace after that. The pain is really bad but they gave me pain killers. Wish me a speedy and fast recovery!

I feel for you - I am in a short cast and find it hard and cannot imagine a full arm cast!

the long arm cast is not bad, I usually wear my sling because I cant bend my arm anyways and I find it more comfortable wearing the sling
