So i don't know if you remeber ny first post but it was a couple months ago. If you don't or are new here is a little backround. So i was playing in a regionals volleyball match. There are 160 courts in one big room, each one lined with big holed mesh.(like soccer nets) So i was running for the ball when my foot got tangled up in the mesh and i feel on my right wrist going for the ball. That was April, the first doctor thought i broke my scafoid, but i didn't after looking at one MRI and like one million x-rays. I was casted for 6 weeks then they pretty much took me out of the cast and sent me on my way. Well around August my wrist started bothering me worse than before, so i talked to my mom and she said i should do some physical therapy(pt) and see if that helps. I do some pt for like 4 weeks then the trainer there tells me to go and do occupational therapy (ot). so i do that, and finally the therapist there tell me to see a doctor. When i go back to a doctor, different one from April, he puts me in a splint, and 2 months later orders an MRI with contrast. I get the MRI and my wrist is all messed up. I can right in school so i have to use my iPad all the time, and now i have to get surgery. I get it on March 1st, ofcourse the day of my HUGE project presentation. I will be out of stuff for a week and my mom is coming to help me. I am going to be casteed for 6-8weeks and in ot for another 3 months. This crap injury stuff has been going on for 10 amost 11 months now, and by the time i finish with surgery this will have gone on for 15-16 months. COME ON what did i do that was so wrong to deserve this. Oh and if you can please give me some ideas for things to do in my long arm cast other than surfing the internet and watching TV. Thanks!
